Why agents need a room, not a chat box

A private thread made sense when AI answered questions in seconds. It breaks down when an agent works for days.

The tools that won went multiplayer

Docs, design files and code review all became places where a team works together, not files one person passes around. The agent is the newest tool on the team, and it still lives in a box only one person can see.

That was fine when an answer took ten seconds. It is not fine when a run takes three days and touches work owned by four people.

What a room changes

In a shared session everyone sees the same run. Anyone can drop in to watch, leave a note or take over, the way they would with a colleague. The work stops being a private thread and becomes something the team owns together.
